Oakhurst Technology and Computer Services, Inc. was founded in 2002 by Mike Lurie and very quickly became a leading provider of computer services in the Tampa Bay Area. Over the past 9 years, Oakhurst Technology has grown from a small company into a well established business, currently servicing 500+ active clients including more than 100 small businesses.

Originally from Seminole, Mike Attended Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science. After graduating from Florida State, Mike returned to Seminole and established Oakhurst Technology. Mike then attended and graduated from the St Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneurial Academy, where experienced professionals teach entrepreneurs the techniques necessary to build and operate a successful business. Mike also went on to earn this Comp TIA A+ Certification as a computer hardware and software technician, proving his broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies. Such technologies include installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking. In 2004, Mike was qualified as an expert witness in website design and development by the County Court of the Sixth Judicial Ciruit of Pinellas County, Fl.

Mike is a family man with strong ties to the community. Mike was born and raised in Seminole and attended all the Seminole schools, Bauder Elementary, Seminole Middle School, and Seminole High School, before attending FSU. After graduating and establishing Oakhurst Technology, Mike met and later married his wife Bonnie, and they have two beautiful girls together.
